A very special evening with Pamela Ford from Silverado Vineyards.
Pamela Ford is currently Eastern Region Manager for Silverado Vineyards, located in the heart of Stags Leap District, Napa Valley, CA. Based on Florida's East Coast, Pamela not only introduces trade & wine enthusiasts to these beautiful, 100% estate wines but also is responsible for all aspects of Business & Distributor Management for 21 Eastern states. Pamela joined Silverado Vineyards in 2011 from Folio Fine Wine Partners, Napa, CA, where she represented 20+ family-owned wineries from around the globe, including iconic Venetian producer, Masi Agricola, for whom she worked for three years prior as their one & only U.S. Market Manager. Prior to joining Masi, Pamela worked as Fine Wine Market Manager in Florida for Rémy Cointreau, Masi's former importer. She managed all aspects of Remy's Florida business, furthering wine education & brand training for trade/sales channels for such prestigious brands as Masi, Antinori, Domaine Laroche and Champagne Piper Heidsieck. Pamela was recipient of Remy's Premium Choice Top Sales Award for 2005-2006 for her work with Merryvale Vineyards, Napa, CA and passed her WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust) intermediate certification with distinction.
Pamela began her career with Anheuser Busch, Inc. 15+ years ago in Florida, as a member of their original Contemporary Marketing Team. She transitioned into Business Development with Allied Domecq Spirits & Wine as TOP Team member, and later, as Account Manager in California, where she managed many facets of Regional Marketing for spirits & wine brands, Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Doughnuts, ToGo's and Duty Free. She discovered her passion for wine while living in CA and successfully launched/grew a start-up sales territory in Florida for NY-based Tricana Imports, boutique importer/distributor of Italian, French & Spanish wines. Pamela & her husband, Randy, live at the beach and combine surfing/SUP, travel, food & wine in their free time.
